For the fourth consecutive year, Seattle Homes & Lifestyles and Seattle Design Center have teamed up to honor professionals whose contributions to design are changing the shape of our city. Awards were presented in the categories of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and one other design-related field.
The jury consisted of past Design Achievement Award winners landscape architect Dale Nussbaum, architect Allan Farkas and artist Judith Caldwell, as well as architect Lane Williams and SH&L market advisor Linda Humphrey. SH&L publisher Jill Mogen, art director Shawn Williams and editor Giselle Smith, as well as Kipepeo Brown and Craig Cross from SDC also sat in on the decision-making process.
